Jr High

Mission Statement

The GC Jr. High exists to provide middle school students with a fun and safe environment to come into a vibrant relationship with God, while making genuine relationships with each other, growing in spiritual gifts and in life skills, and discovering their identities in the process.

Vision Statement

We aim to rise above the ordinary by displaying God’s love and power through prayer, ministry, creative expression, and acts of service to our city and beyond.

We are an energetic group of young people that are excited not just about what God is doing, but about who He is. We love spending time in His Presence and we take tremendous joy in searching out His character, His personality, and His heart. We have found these two things out about Him: 1. He is in a good mood. 2. He is the kindest person we will ever meet.

We are passionate about giving away what we have received, and we want to encourage and bless everyone we come in contact with, whether in church, our schools, restaurants, or stores. We are simply an army of youth that are excited about the transformation taking place in us and we cannot keep silent about it. We don’t think evangelism should be about striving to gain “converts,” but rather about loving people and relating to them out of the overflow of our hearts. Our goal is not to sell anything to anyone. It is to simply let them know that they are treasured and valuable.

We believe God is alive, active, and powerful, and we want our lives to reflect it.

We live to reveal the love and goodness of God to a world full of brokenness, confusion, and despair. Whether through prayer, healing, prophecy, or acts of service, we seek to discover the fruit of Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection.

We are raising up young leaders to operate in their gifts and callings, full of confidence and passion, and without fear or insecurity. We are empowering and releasing youth to engage the Holy Spirit and bring about transformation in all parts of society.
