Worship Update

Hey everyone.  
I was asked to update you wonderful website visitors on happenings in the worship department (which I will do), but first I wanted to tell you about a multilevel marketing business I've just started... Just kidding!  :D

So, about worship 'happenings': As you may know, I'm coming up on my seventh year as the worship pastor of Grace Center, and believe me when I say that I love being your worship pastor.   GC has to be THE easiest church in the world to lead worship in. You are always willing to go wherever the spirit might lead, fully abandoned. I can remember times when the congregation has sung louder than the band, and I truly believe that what happens during our worship times at GC opens up things in the heavenlies that have an impact on our community and beyond.  AND you guys have been a GREAT 'test market' for new songs I write! Despite the huge amount of professional musicians, singers and songwriters in the crowd, I have never felt any weird judgement or criticism. For all that... I thank you! I mean, I REALLY REALLY thank you!

I(We)'ve been writing a bunch lately and sometime soon we hope to record a 'Live at Grace Center' CD. We'll be sure to keep you updated about that. Until then, I have a CD on iTunes and in the church bookstore for anyone interested.  On that note: We could always use donations for recording equipment if you so desire.  :D

With all the services we're doing we are in constant need of more musicians/singers... We have tried to not do the 'try-out' thing, up till now, but moving forward we'll probably try to do a regular audition process. And that's not to be exclusive, but rather to maintain excellence.
